As a responsible corporate citizen, Great Eastern's staff and life planners proactively organise community events, contributing towards the care of the under privileged young and elderly.
Great Eastern's ChildrenCare project raises funds for a children's charity and GoldenCare project raises funds for an elderly home. All these charities come under the umbrella of Community Chest.
To date, our two community projects have raised more than $9 million for Community Chest. In recognition of our efforts, Great Eastern has been conferred the "Special Events Platinum Award" by Community Chest for 17 consecutive years.
Great Eastern's dedication and long-term commitment towards organising ChildrenCare and GoldenCare projects have also won us the "10-Year Outstanding Special Event Award" in 2003 and the prestigious 15-Year Outstanding Special Events Award in 2008.

ChildrenCare 
ChildrenCare is the first community project of Great Eastern. It was launched in 1987.
All donations collected through ChildrenCare will be channeled to a children's charity under Community Chest to support their physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy sessions.

GoldenCare is the second community project of Great Eastern. It was launched in 1993.
All donations collected through GoldenCare will be channeled to an elderly home under Community Chest to provide health care and rehabilitative support for the elderly.
