In line with Great Eastern’s focus on sustainability, several initiatives will be taken this year.
- Reduction in usage of single-use plastic in race packs and entitlements, encouraging runners to make an impact towards a greener world.
- 100% recyclable Finisher medal
- Reusable tote bag suitable for everyday needs, to encourage Participants to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) as an alternative to single-use plastic bags.
- Participants will also be receiving an e-certificate.
We hope that Great Eastern Women's Run will serve as a platform to encourage runners to start adopting eco-friendlier habits and to do our part to achieve sustainability in our everyday life.
