In conjunction with #PlanLikeAWoman, a campaign focusing on women by Great Eastern, this year’s GEWR will also see the introduction of the first nationwide Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) for women.
In the lead up to the IPPT and the Great Eastern Women’s Run, Great Eastern has commissioned three of Singapore’s leading fitness trainers to curate a series of exercises aimed at strengthening the female body. Rockstar Fit founder Natalie Dau will focus on full body weighted exercises, crucial for building bone mass while Nike Master Trainer Wany Misban highlights the importance and benefits of a strong core. Finally, Shape Fit Girl Roxanne Gan highlights the importance of mobility exercises – an often neglected but necessary element to improve joint movements.
Natalie is the founder of global media lifestyle platform www.thedailyescape.com and the highly-successful Rockstar Fit App. Originally from Australia, she has lived in Asia for the last 15 years and is mum to a 10 year old daughter.
