1. How can I register?

2. What is the minimum age to participate in the Great Eastern Women's Run 2019?

There are different minimum age requirements for the different race categories.

  • 100m Princess Dash: Accompanying female adult must be at least 18 years as of 31 December 2019. Female child must be 3 - 6 years as of 31 December 2019.
  • 2km Mummy + Me Run: Female adult must be at least 18 years as of 31 December 2019. Female Child/children must be 7 - 13 years as of 31 December 2019.
  • 5km: Minimum 13 years as of 31 December 2019.
  • 10km: Minimum 16 years as of 31 December 2019.
  • 21.1km Half Marathon: Minimum 18 years as of 31 December 2019.
     

3. How can I make payment?

You can make payment by VISA or Mastercard through the online payment portal which you will be directed to after you have duly completed your registration.
 

4. What is my Great Eastern Policyholder discount code?

For Great Eastern Female Policyholders, select discount type - 'LIV3LY Code’ and enter last 4 alphanumeric of ID Number  (eg.ID No. –S1234567A, promo code—567A) into the field to enjoy the special rate.

Please note that the Great Eastern Female Policyholder LIV3LY code will only be valid until 14 July 2019, 2359h.

There is strictly no extension of the Great Eastern Female Policyholder rate after 14 July 2019, 2359h.
 

5. How do I make use of my Great Eastern Policyholder discount code?

For all Great Eastern Female Policyholders, to enjoy the policyholder discount*, please follow these instructions:

1. Sign in to the LIV3LY Registration System.

Existing LIV3LY members – Sign in with your LIV3LY details.
Non-LIV3LY members – one of the following options to sign in:

(i) Sign up for a LIV3LY account, OR
(ii) Continue without an account: Enter a valid email address to continue.

2. Select (i) Individual

  • Select ‘Discount Type’, choose ‘LIV3LY Code’, enter last 4 alphanumeric of ID Number  (eg.ID No. –S1234567A, promo code—567A) and click ‘Apply Discount’.
  • The system will automatically reflect the Great Eastern Female Policyholder rate.

In the event that the discount is not reflected, please email us at info@greateasternwomensrun.com and we will assist you further.
 

6. What is Loyal Runner discount code? (Only applicable to Great Eastern Women's Run 2018 participants.)

If you had registered for Great Eastern Women’s Run 2018, please use the email address that was used to register for 2018’s race as your LIV3LY code.
 

7. How do I make use of my Loyal Runner discount code?

All registered participants of the Great Eastern Women's Run 2018 are entitled to loyalty rates* for the 2019 race.

1. Sign in to the LIV3LY Registration System.

Existing LIV3LY members – Sign in with your LIV3LY details.
Non-LIV3LY members – one of the following options to sign in:

(i) Sign up for a LIV3LY account, OR
(ii) Continue without an account: Enter a valid email address to continue.

2. Select (i) Individual

  • Select ‘Discount Type’, choose ‘LIV3LY Code’, enter the email address that was used to register for Great Eastern Women’s Run 2018 and click ‘Apply Discount’.
  • The system will automatically reflect the Loyal Runners rate.

In the event that the discount is not reflected, please email us at info@greateasternwomensrun.com and we will assist you further.

*Please note that the Loyal Runner LIV3LY code will only be valid until 14 July 2019, 2359h.
*There is strictly no extension of the loyalty rate after 14 July 2019, 2359h.
 

8. How can I register for a group? (Group must consist of 15 people or more.)

Group registration discounts are only applicable to groups consisting of 15 people or more.

You can register in a group if you are registering for more than 15 people. Group registrations are entitled to a 5% discount.

Group registration is only applicable for Early Bird (Public) and Normal Period pricing. It is not applicable for Live Great Members’ rates, Policyholders' rates, Loyal Runners’ rates.

Registrations can be made up of a mix of categories.

9. Is GST included in the registration fee?

Yes, GST is included in the registration fee.
 

10. How will I know if my entry has been accepted?

An email confirmation will be sent to the email address that you used to register for the race.
 

11. Why have I not received my confirmation slip despite registering and making payment?

There could be several reasons:

  • The email has been blocked by your mail server and/ or is treated as spam.
  • Your registration was not successful.
  • There was an error in your email address.

Please check your registration status via the Participant’s Login on the Great Eastern Women's Run 2019 website and reconfirm your email address. We will resend the confirmation slip through the online tracking system.

If all the above fails, please call our hotline at +65 6248 5777 and provide the following information:

  • Name
  • NRIC (last 4 digits and alphabet) / Passport No.
  • Race Category

Please allow at least 3-5 working days for investigation.
 

12. Can I make changes to my personal particulars after submitting my registration?

Yes. You can make changes to your personal particulars by logging in to the Participant’s Login with your email address and password, or send us an email at info@greateasternwomensrun.com.

Participants will not be able to change the following details:

  • Email Address
  • Race Category
  • Date of Birth
  • NRIC/Passport No.
  • Gender

All participants are to make changes by 23 September 2019, 2359h. Any request for changes after 23 September 2019, 2359h will not be entertained.
 

13. Can I change race categories after I have registered?

No.
 

14. Can I join multiple race categories?

No. Joining of multiple categories is not allowed due to safety concerns.
 

15. If I do not wish to withdraw from the race, can I transfer my registration?

No. Race entries are strictly non-transferable. The registration system documents the particulars of each runner and in the event of emergencies where medical assistance is required. The emergency contact is taken from the information stated at the back of the bib. For the safety of our runners, changes are not permitted.
 

16. Do I get a refund if I choose not to participate after registration?

The withdrawal policy of the Great Eastern Women's Run 2019 is as follows:

Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal notification must be sent in writing either by post or email. The date of withdrawal will be as postmarked on the envelope, or in the email header. Telephone and verbal messages of withdrawal will not be accepted.

Participants who withdraw before 23 September 2019 will receive a 50% refund of the paid race fee.

This refund will be credited back to the credit card used during the original entry. Payments made by cash will be refunded by cheque.

Refunds will be issued after the event or in each administration period.

There will be no refunds made for all withdrawals submitted after 1700h on 23 September 2019.

1. When and where will the Great Eastern Women’s Run 2019 be held?

Great Eastern Women's Run 2019 will be held on 3 November 2019 (Sunday), at the Singapore Sports Hub.
 

2. How many Race Categories are there?

There are five race categories this year:

  • 100m Princess Dash
  • 2km Mummy + Me Run
  • 5km
  • 10km
  • 21.1km Half Marathon

There are different minimum age requirements for the different race categories.

  • 100m Princess Dash: Accompanying female adult must be at least 18 years as of 31 December 2019. Female child must be 3 - 6 years as of 31 December 2019.
  • 2km Mummy + Me Run: Female adult must be at least 18 years as of 31 December 2019. Female Child/children must be 7 - 13 years as of 31 December 2019.
  • 5km: Minimum 13 years as of 31 December 2019.
  • 10km: Minimum 16 years as of 31 December 2019.
  • 21.1km Half Marathon: Minimum 18 years as of 31 December 2019.

All participants are encouraged to be at the starting point 30 minutes before their respective flag-off times. The start pen will open 30 minutes before each respective flag-off time and closes 30 minutes after the flag-off time.

Runners who are late or start in another category will be disqualified.
 

4. What is a Race Entry Pack?

It is a pack containing essential race items. This includes your race bib, timing chip (for competitive categories), the event guide, a running tee and other sponsored items.
 

5. When is the Great Eastern Women’s Run 2019 Race Entry Pack Collection? Where is it located?

Great Eastern Women’s Run 2019 Race Entry Pack Collection is on the following dates:

6. Is there a baggage deposit area at the race village?

There is a complimentary baggage check-in service at the race village where runners can deposit their belongings.

*Counters will only accept items secured in bag(s).Whilst maximum care and security will be enforced, the Organiser will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items, or delay in retrieving the bags. Participants are advised to arrive 2 hours before their start time as delays are expected prior to the flag-off times of the respective race categories.
 

7. Is it necessary to wear the race bib when participating in the race?

The timing chip is affixed on the back of your race bib for competitive categories. Participants must wear their race bibs while participating in the race. The Race Organiser reserves the right to deny entry of runners into the start pen without valid race bibs.
 

8. I am competing for the top prizes. What should I do?

Runners competing for top prizes are advised to assemble at the front of the start pen at the start of the race. Official results and ranking will be based on the ‘Gun Time’.
 

9. If I do not complete the race in the stipulated time-frame, will I be entitled to the Finisher’s items?

Unfortunately, Finisher’s items are only reserved for registered participants who have completed the race. The Finisher’s items can only be collected after the Finisher’s line. No separate arrangement will be made for a separate collection.
 

10. Will there be course markers along the race routes?

Yes, course markers will be available at every kilometer along the race routes.
 

11. Will there be an awards ceremony?

All winners will be presented with their respective awards following their race categories on race day.
 

12. How will my race timing be recorded?

The B-Tag system has been adopted to record your race timings electronically. The timing chip is located on the reverse side of your race bib. 5km, 10km and 21.1km participants will be timed using the B-Tag race timing system.
 

13. How do I use my timing chip?

Simply ensure that your timing chip is affixed on the reverse side of your race bib. Wear your race bib on the front of your torso. Make sure it is not covered by jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc. Do not alter, modify, fold or wrinkle your race bib.
 

14. What if I am injured during the race or unable to finish the race?

Please alert the route marshals or medical responders for medical attention.
 

15. Is there a cut-off time for the Great Eastern Women’s Run 2019?

The cut-off timings are as follows:

  • 2km Mummy + Me Run – 40 min after the flag-off time
  • 5km Live Great! Fun Run – 1 hour after the flag-off time
  • 10km – 2.5 hours after the flag-off time
  • 21.1km Half Marathon – 4.5 hours after the flag-off time
     

16. Will there be an official photographer?

A team of professional photographers will be stationed at various locations of the race course and at the finish line so as to ensure that multiple photos of the participants are captured at different stages of the race.
 

17. Can I skate or cycle during the race instead?

No. For the safety of all the race participants, skating and cycling are not permitted.
 

18. Can I bring along my pets?

No. For the safety of all the race participants, pets are not permitted.
 

19. Are prams, strollers or baby carriers allowed at the race?

No. For the safety of all race participants, prams, strollers and baby carriers are not permitted.
 

20. I am expecting a baby. Can I run?

Expectant mothers are advised not to participate in the race. If you wish to participate, a medical certificate from a qualified gynaecologist in Singapore (other than the expectant mother or her family member) certifying you are fit to participate in the run must be provided to the Race Organiser. The certificate should be dated within seven days of the Great Eastern Women’s Run 2019.
 

21. How can I access my personal race results after the event?

Participants will be granted access to their personal race results (‘Gun Time’ and ‘Net Time’), as captured by the timing system on the race website 48 hours after the last cut-off time.

Official results and ranking are based on the ‘Gun Time’.

‘Gun Time’ (officially accepted by the IAAF as the valid mode of measuring running time) is recorded as soon as the gun is fired and it includes whatever distance you had covered before you actually reach the start line.

‘Net Time’ is recorded only when you cross the start line. Race ‘Net Time’ is often shorter than Race ‘Gun Time’ as many runners do not cross the start line until several minutes after the official ‘Gun Time’ has begun.

5. Where do I collect my Finisher Tee?
