1.    What is the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher?

As part of Great Eastern’s 110th Birthday celebrations, Group Human Capital is offering a policy premium voucher worth $110 to all Great Eastern permanent and direct contract employees as part of our Employee Benefits.

2.    Who are eligible to redeem the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher?

The GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher is issued to all Great Eastern permanent and direct contract employees who joined the Company on and before 15 August 2018.

3.    How can I redeem the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher?

  • Download the UPGREAT mobile application from the Apple App Store/Google Play Store
  • Sign up for your new UPGREAT account using your Great Eastern Corporate Email Address
  • Receive a 6-digit verification code via email
  • Complete sign up with the 6-digit verification code
  • You will receive your voucher in “My Wallet” at the bottom tab

4.    If I have an existing UPGREAT account which I signed up using my personal email address, can I receive the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher in this account? 

You can only receive the voucher through an UPGREAT account registered with your Great Eastern Corporate Email Address. You will need to create another UPGREAT account, registered with your Great Eastern Corporate Email Address to receive the voucher.

5.    What policy can I buy with the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher?

The Voucher can be used to purchase any NEW Regular Premium or Accident & Health plan and/or riders offered by The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited (“Great Eastern”). Voucher is not valid for use on policies with CPFIS or SRS payment mode. The list of eligible products can be found under the Appendix in the Terms & Conditions

6.    Can I use the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher to offset the premium for my existing policy?

The Voucher may only be used to offset the initial premium of NEW policy and cannot be used to offset subsequent or recurring premiums

7.    Can I get a refund on the balance if the premium amount is lesser than the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher value?

The Voucher is applicable for a one-time use only on the purchase of a NEW policy and up to the value of S$110. Should the value of S$110 not be fully utilized on the NEW policy, the remaining value will not be refunded to the employee.

8.    How do I buy my policy?

You can purchase your NEW policy through the Staff Purchase Team, ROSE. You will need to present the Voucher together with your Proposal Form to ROSE.

9.    Can I use the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher if I purchase the policy through my GE Life Planner?

The GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher can only be redeemed and utilized through purchase from the Staff Purchase Team, ROSE.

10.  Can I enjoy the staff discount if I use the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher to purchase policy?

The Voucher may be used in conjunction any other employee promotion/ discount offered by the Company

11.  Can I use the GE110 Employee Policy Premium Voucher to buy policy for my family member?

The NEW Policy must to be a First Party Policy i.e. the Policyholder and life assured must be the employee.

12.  I have downloaded the UPGREAT mobile application and registered using my corporate email address. Why am I still unable to view the voucher in “My Wallet”?
