Why should I consider joining Great Eastern's Corporate MA Programme? 


With our Head Office in Singapore, all strategic decision making for the Group takes place here. Our Senior Management team is based right here in Singapore and you will have the opportunity to interact with the decision makers and be where the action is.

Do I need a Business degree or Insurance background to qualify for the programme?  

We welcome all disciplines to join the programme - we place a strong emphasis on your overall potential!

At the start of the programme, we will provide a comprehensive company orientation and foundation programs before your rotation to the different areas.

Do I need to have any work experience?  

We welcome all final-year undergraduates with an expected bachelor’s degree with good honours to apply. The programme is also open to all candidates with less than 2 years of working experience.

How many MAs does Great Eastern recruit a year?  

We recruit about 5 Management Associates per year. The small cohort ensures that all our MAs are provided quality guidance, throughout the whole duration, enabling them to develop into future leaders of the company.

How many rotations will I receive?  

There will be 3 rotations of 9 months each, through 3 different areas:

  • Business
  • Business Support & Operations
  • Governance / Policy Making

Will I be assigned a Mentor?  

To support MAs on this journey, a formal mentor will be assigned to each MA and the formal mentorship will last for a year. MAs also encouraged to continue the relationship with their mentors beyond the formal programme, and also to seek other mentors that they will meet along their journey with us.

Who is an ideal Great Eastern Corporate MA?  

We are looking for MAs who share our values of integrity, initiative and involvement. We want someone curious, bold, collaborative, inquisitive, inspiring, with the ability to work with a diverse group of people.

What is the application and selection process?  

Stage 1: Applications open from September – November 

Stage 2: Complete a psychometric test (numerical and verbal reasoning) 

Stage 3: Join us at a networking event

Stage 4: Participate in assessment centre - Interesting business cases / projects and team activities

Stage 5: Complete a personality questionnaire

Stage 6: Panel interviews with HR and members of the Senior Management Team

Stage 7: Offer will be prepared and successful candidate will receive the offer by 31 March
