1. What is “Shake it with foodpanda”?

“Shake it with foodpanda” (the “Campaign”) is a new Shake & Win Campaign in collaboration between foodpanda and The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited to increase awareness of UPGREAT; an all-in-one rewards mobile app.

Participants who meet the eligibility criteria of the Campaign will be entitled to play in the Weekly Shake and Win on UPGREAT to win prizes. There are a total of four (4) Weekly Shake & Win games on UPGREAT.

All eligible participants throughout the Campaign will also be automatically enrolled to play in the Grand Shake & Win on UPGREAT with a chance to win prizes including the Grand Prize at the end of the Campaign.

2. Who are eligible to take part in “Shake it with foodpanda”?

This Campaign is open to individuals who meet all the following criteria:

  • Currently residing in Singapore;
  • aged 18 years old and above at the point of registration of the Campaign;
  • New and existing customers of foodpanda who have:
    • Opted in via foodpanda’s mobile app or foodpanda’s Campaign webpage to take part in the Campaign during the Qualifying Periods set out under Question 5.
    • Has made at least one (1) successful transaction* with foodpanda during that week’s Qualifying Period; no minimum spend is required.

*A successful transaction is defined as an order that is placed by the customer who subsequently receives an email confirmation containing his/her Order receipt from foodpanda and such order is verified by foodpanda, as part of the process for this Campaign.

3. What is the Qualifying Period and when is it?

The Qualifying Period refers to the period where Participants make at least one (1) successful transaction with foodpanda to qualify for the relevant “Shake & Win Period” and the Grand “Shake & Win Period” as set out in the table under Question 5. The Qualifying Period is held across 4 weeks from 3rd to 30th June 2020.

4. How can I qualify to play the Weekly Shake & Win and Grand Shake & Win?

Step 1:

Simply make a one-time opt-in to the Campaign via:

a) Pop-up page in foodpanda’s mobile app or

b) foodpanda’s Campaign website during the Qualifying Period.

Step 2:

Participants must make at least one (1) successful transaction* via foodpanda during the Qualifying Period as set out under Question 5 to be eligible to play the Shake and Win game during the respective Shake & Win Period

Participants who have fulfilled both Steps 1 and 2 will also qualify for the Grand Shake & Win.

*A successful transaction is defined as an order that is placed by the customer who subsequently receives an email confirmation containing his/her Order receipt from foodpanda and such order is verified by foodpanda, as part of the process for this Campaign.

5. What is the schedule for the Qualifying Period and Shake & Win Period?

The Qualifying Period and Shake & Win Period for each Weekly Shake & Win and Grand Shake & Win are as follow:

*Qualifying Period is defined as the period where participants have made at least one (1) successful transaction on foodpanda to qualify for “Shake it with foodpanda”.

^The Shake & Win Period refers to the period when eligible Participants are entitled to play in the Weekly and Grand Shake & Win games.

6. How do I know whether I have qualified in the Campaign to play the Weekly Shake & Win? 

Participants who meet the eligibility criteria will be notified by a servicing Electronic Direct Mailer (EDM) inviting them to download the UPGREAT app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and to create a UPGREAT account as per their registered foodpanda email address.

Upon successful creation of UPGREAT account, participants can tap on the icon titled “Play & Win” at the main landing page of UPGREAT app, followed by tapping on banner titled “Shake it with foodpanda” to enter and start playing the entitled Shake & Win.

7. Will I be notified if I am qualified to play the Grand Shake & Win?

Eligible participants for the Grand Shake & Win will be notified by a servicing EDM inviting them to download the UPGREAT app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and to create a UPGREAT account as per their registered foodpanda email address.

8. Can I qualify to play in each week’s Shake & Win? 

Yes, each participant can qualify to play in each Weekly Shake & Win, including the Grand Shake & Win, as long as the participant meets the qualifying criteria set out in Question 4.

9. Do I need to opt in to the Campaign every week to be entitled for each week’s Shake & Win?

Only a one-time opt in is required. Once participant has opted in to the Campaign, he/she will only need to fulfil Step 2 of Question 4 for the rest of the Campaign.

10. Are transactions made with shops on foodpanda eligible for this campaign?

Yes, successful transactions for purchases made at both restaurants and shops on foodpanda are eligible for this campaign.

11. Can I win more than one prize from Shake & Win?

Prizes are capped at one (1) prize per eligible Participant per week. 

12. Where and how can I opt-in to participate in this Campaign?

You may make a one-time opt-in to the Campaign via

a) Pop-up page in foodpanda’s mobile app or

b) foodpanda’s Campaign webpage

The Prizes will be stored as e-vouchers in the winners’ UPGREAT account as per their registered foodpanda email address, and can be found under “My Vouchers”. The e-vouchers will come with unique promotion codes in different denominations for the winners to redeem. 

Grand and Top prizes will be pushed as e-vouchers to the winners’ UPGREAT account as per their registered foodpanda email address within three (3) working days after the Grand Shake & Win period has ended on 19 July 2020. The e-vouchers will come with unique promotion codes in different denominations for the winners to redeem.

14. I am an existing UPGREAT member. My UPGREAT account email is different from my foodpanda account email. What should I do?

Eligible participants of the Weekly Shake & Win and the Grand Shake & Win will be able to access the Shake & Win game on UPGREAT via the same registered foodpanda email address. Please ensure that you register for a new UPGREAT account with your registered foodpanda email address to login to your UPGREAT account to play!

15. I have made a transaction with foodpanda last week but did not opt in to participate in this Campaign. Will I still be entitled to play in the Weekly Shake & Win and Grand Shake & Win?

No. Participants who did not opt in to participate for the Campaign during the same qualifying period of the transaction made, will not qualify for the Weekly Shake & Win and Grand Shake & Win.

16.  I have made a transaction with foodpanda last week and have opted in to participate in this Campaign this week. Will I qualify to play in the Weekly Shake & Win?

You will not qualify as the opt-in was made a week after the transaction on foodpanda.

No. The Shake & Win Period for each Weekly Shake & Win is fixed and cannot be extended.

18. I have fulfilled both steps of opting in and making a transaction with foodpanda. Why am I not entitled to play in the Weekly Shake & Win?
