PayNow QR is a cashless payment method you can use for your Great Eastern premiums. To make payment, simply scan or upload the QR code using any PayNow-participating banking app.
2. What type of payment can be made using Corporate PayNow QR?
You can use PayNow QR to pay for a new policy purchase and your policy renewal premium. We also accept PayNow QR when you make other payments, such as loan repayment, top-up, reinstatement, and more via e-Connect.
3. How do I make a payment via PayNow QR?
Step 1. When making a transaction, select PayNow QR as your preferred payment mode.
Step 2. A unique QR code for your transaction will be generated. Take note of the expiry date and time.
Step 4. Before confirming the payment, make sure you verify the company name and payment amount. Take note not to change the UEN and bill reference number as they’re important for us to identify the transaction.
Step 5. Upon successful payment, you should receive a payment notification from your bank. You’ll also receive a notification from us to confirm the receipt of payment.
4. How can I use the PayNow QR on a participating mobile banking app?
Step 1. If you’ve opened the QR code on your mobile phone, take a screenshot of it. If you’ve opened the QR code on your desktop computer, proceed to step 2.
Step 2. Open your mobile banking app and select “Scan & Pay”, “PayNow” or “QR Pay” from the menu.
Step 3. Scan the QR code or upload the QR code screenshot.
Step 4. Verify the company name and payment amount.
5. What is the PayNow transfer limit?
The default PayNow daily transfer limit is $5,000.
If you bank with OCBC, DBS/POSB, UOB, HSBC or Maybank, you can increase your PayNow daily transfer limit to up to $200,000 via your mobile banking app or internet banking.
