Maturity payment

Policy purchased through Great Eastern Distribution Representative

  • For policies which are eligible for Direct Crediting*, an invitation will be sent to you two months before the maturity date for you to provide your bank account details for the direct crediting of the maturity payments to your bank account.
  • For policies with Direct Crediting request, the maturity proceeds will be credited to your bank account on the maturity date.
  • For payments by cheques, the maturity cheque will be in the form of a remittance advice. It incorporates the detailed breakdown of the net maturity amount with the perforated cheque on the same remittance advice.
  • If you would like to authorise your Servicing Life Planner to collect the cheque, you may complete the authorisation form and submit it to us at least 7 working days before your maturity date.

* Direct crediting request will only be available for maturity proceeds of S$30,000 and below.

Policy purchased through Bancassurance (OCBC Bank)

  • For policies which are eligible for Direct Crediting**, we will send you an invitation 2 months before the maturity date for you to provide your bank account details for the direct crediting of the maturity payments to your bank account.
  • For policies with Direct Crediting request, the maturity proceeds will be credited to your bank account on the maturity date.
  • For payments by cheques, the maturity cheque will be in the form of a remittance advice. It incorporates the detail breakdown of the net maturity amount with the perforated cheque on the same remittance advice.

** Direct crediting request will only be available for maturity proceeds of S$200,000 and below.

Policyholders residing overseas

We will write to you before the maturity date regarding the payment.


Unclaimed Maturity

We are always on the lookout for policyholders whose plans have matured, but have not yet responded to our request to receive monies due in their name.

 

If you think that this might be you, please confirm that your name and identification card number appear in the Unclaimed Proceeds list in the Life Insurance Association (LIA) website. Please proceed to contact our Customer Service Centre at this address:
