1.    What is Live Great Birthday Pack?

As part of Great Eastern’s 110th Birthday celebrations, Live Great Birthday Pack is a new campaign under Great Eastern’s Live Great Programme, offering policyholders who are Live Great card members delightful bundle deals for redemption in the form of e-vouchers starting from 26 August 2018, 12 pm onwards till 30 September 2018.

2.    Who are eligible to redeem the Live Great Birthday Pack?

Participation is limited to Eligible Participants (as defined below):

“Eligible Participant” means a person who is the holder of a Valid Live Great Card.

“Valid Live Great Card” means a Live Great Card containing a 16-digit number issued to policyholders who purchased:

(a)  any individual life, accident or health policy offered by Great Eastern Life; or

(b)  any general insurance plans offered by Great Eastern General Insurance Limited except for single trip travel insurance plans,

which is in force as at 19 August 2018.

3.    How can I redeem the Live Great Birthday Pack?

a)    Download the UPGREAT mobile application from App Store/Google Play Store

b)    Sign up for your new UPGREAT account

c)    Receive a 6-digit verification code via email

d)    Complete sign up with the 6-digit verification code

e)    Complete the following steps in UPGREAT to sync your account:

–      Select “Me” at the bottom tab

–      Select “Link Account”

–      Enter your ID type and ID number

–      Confirm your mobile number & receive a 6-digit verification code via SMS^

–      Complete verification with the 6-digit verification code

 

f)     Login to UPGREAT and you will view the Live Great Birthday Pack. Enjoy!

 

e)    Complete the following steps in UPGREAT to sync your account:

–      Select “Me” at the bottom tab

–      Select “Link Account”

–      Enter your ID type and ID number

–      Confirm your mobile number & receive a 6-digit verification code via SMS^

–      Complete verification with the 6-digit verification code

 

f)     Sign up for Live Great Membership here. Please ensure to activate your new Live Great account via email verification.

 

g)    Login to UPGREAT 3 working days later and you will view the Live Great Birthday Pack. Enjoy!

^If your ID type and ID number cannot be verified, you will be prompted to provide a policy number which must be active.

^If the policy number cannot be verified, you will be prompted and an email will be sent to you. Reply to the email to update your details.

^Once verified, we will send an email to your mobile number to do a One Time Verification. If incorrect, you will be emailed instructions on how to update your details.

4.    What is “Merchant’s PIN”?
It is a unique 6-digit verification code which the merchant outlet staff needs to enter in your mobile phone screen to validate and complete the redemption.

5.    Can I combine the Live Great Birthday Pack with other offers or promotions?
Live Great Birthday Pack is not valid with other ongoing discounts, offers, rebates, vouchers, promotions, privileges or membership/loyalty programs.

6.    Can I redeem the Live Great Birthday Pack more than once?
Each Live Great card member is only entitled to reserve and/or redeem one e-voucher under the “Live Great Birthday Pack” campaign, while stocks last on a first-come-first-serve basis.

7.    Why do I get this error message “You have reached your redemption limit for this campaign.”?

Each Live Great card member is only entitled to reserve and/or redeem one e-voucher under the “Live Great Birthday Pack” campaign. If you have either reserved or redeemed an e-voucher successfully and would like to reserve and/or redeem another e-voucher, you will see the above message.

8.    Can I still redeem my deal if my reserved e-voucher has expired?
Once the reserved e-voucher has expired, you will be required to reserve the e-voucher again, subject to availability, while stocks last on a first-come-first-serve basis.

9.    Can I cancel the reserved e-voucher if I have decided not to redeem it?
Yes you can cancel the reservation under “My Wallet” >> Select “My Rewards” >> Select the e-voucher >> Select “Cancel Reservation” >> Select “Proceed”.

 

Online Redemption via Merchant Website with Unique Promo Code (For Blackmores and Bosch)

10.  How can I redeem the Live Great Birthday Pack with a unique promo code?

To redeem an online Live Great Birthday Pack, please click “Redeem Now” >> “Yes Get Code Now” and you will be assigned your unique promo code. You must copy and paste this code during checkout at the merchant’s retail website.

11.  I have obtained a unique promo code but I haven’t redeemed it yet. Why am I unable to reserve and/or redeem other e-vouchers?

By obtaining your unique promo code, you will not be able to cancel and reserve or exchange for another e-voucher.

12.  I have changed my mind and decided not to utilize the unique promo code. Can I do that?

You may not need to utilize the unique promo code but by obtaining the promo code, the e-voucher is considered redeemed and cannot be cancelled.

13.  Do I require my Live Great Card to redeem for the Live Great Birthday Pack?

The Live Great Card is generally required to enjoy the full suite of Live Great members’ privileges.  However, for the Live Great Birthday Pack, only the UPGREAT app will be required. The physical Live Great Card alone is not required for the redemption of this deal.

 If you are an Eligible Participant, you can login via the UPGREAT mobile app to reserve and redeem the Live Great Birthday Pack deal. You will need to present your reserved e-voucher via UPGREAT at the merchant’s participating outlets to redeem the deal. 

14.  I lost my Live Great Card. Can I still redeem the Live Great Birthday Pack?

The Live Great Card is required to enjoy the full suite of Live Great members’ privileges. If you are an Eligible Participant, you can login via the UPGREAT mobile app to reserve and redeem the Live Great Birthday Pack. Redemption using your physical Live Great Card alone is not valid. You will need to present your reserved e-voucher via UPGREAT at the merchant’s participating outlets to redeem the deal.

To enjoy full suite of benefits under the Live Great Programme, you are strongly encouraged to report loss of Live Great Card for replacement. 15.  I am an existing Great Eastern policyholder and have the Live Great Card. Why am I unable to sync my account in UPGREAT?

Please email directly to our Customer Service at wecare-SG@greateasternlife.com or contact our Customer Service hotline at 1800 248 2888 (excluding Public Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays) for further assistance. If you encountered an error message, please note it down and email to our Customer Service.

16.  I am an existing Great Eastern policyholder and have the Live Great Card. I have also successfully synced my account in UPGREAT. But why am I unable to view the Live Great Birthday Pack in UPGREAT?

17.  I am a Great Eastern policyholder and have just registered for the Live Great Card. Why am I still unable to view the Live Great Birthday Pack in UPGREAT?

Please ensure that you have:

a.     Activated your new Live Great account via email verification; and

b.    Synced your account in UPGREAT after 3 working days upon successful activation of your Live Great account.

18.  How can I apply for Live Great Card?

19.  I am not a Great Eastern policyholder. Can I register for the Live Great Card to enjoy Live Great Birthday Pack?

The Live Great Card is applicable exclusively to existing Great Eastern policyholders only. Non-policyholders who register for Live Great membership will receive complimentary access to health and wellness content such as Live Great Reads and Tools and receive regular electronic mailers on upcoming Great Eastern campaigns and events.
