Ministry of Health - Guidelines for new IP Riders - Great Eastern

As part of a concerted effort to manage escalating healthcare costs in Singapore, the MOH has issued guidelines on 7 March 2018 for all six IP insurers to introduce new IP riders with co-payment features by 1 April 2019.

Aligned with the recommendations from the Health Insurance Task Force (HITF), these new co-payment features will encourage customers to take on active roles in selecting their preferred choice of medical providers and treatments for their healthcare.
