This comprehensive accident insurance plan for children covers them – worldwide – against accidents, as well as illnesses such as Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD), Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) and food poisoning.

Key benefits


Be reimbursed for medical expenses 

Get back as much as S$5,000 for accident-related medical expenses, including treatments by a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner or chiropractor1 .


Cover your child against common injuries

Should your child suffer accidental fractures, dislocations or burns, you’ll receive up to S$8,0002 .


Be reimbursed for mobility aids and reconstructive surgery

To help with your child’s recovery from an accident, you'll be reimbursed up to S$1,500 for mobility aids, and up to S$5,000 for reconstructive surgery.


Receive hospitalisation benefits

If your child is hospitalised due to HFMD, DHF or food poisoning, you’ll get up to S$150*  per day, and be reimbursed up to S$200 in medical expenses.


Receive a daily companion allowance

For every day that your child is hospitalised following an accident, you’ll receive up to S$150 to help cover loss of pay because you’re off work.


Protect your child’s future

Should the unexpected happen to you, the plan’s Education Fund3 offers up to S$50,000 to help provide for your child’s education and daily needs.

How Junior Protector Plus works


Hospitalisation: To cover the cost of hospitalisation, surgical or medical expenses - and make up for loss of income due to hospitalisation - consider GREAT SupremeHealthGREAT TotalCare and Supreme MediCash.


Long-term disability income: In the event of disability, receive a monthly benefit all through life with LifeSecure.


Child's education and future: To be assured of high guaranteed payouts at each one of your child's milestone education ages4 - and to ensure his living expenses will always be covered - consider Supreme Education and Parent Assurance Benefit.

1 Up to S$300 per accident for treatment by a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner registered with the Ministry of Health in Singapore, or a qualified chiropractor who holds a degree in chiropractic medicine and is registered with a recognised chiropractic organisation. All benefit/payout/allowance amounts specified are per accident, per policy year.

3 Payable if accidental death occurs. The benefit ends when the insured child reaches 21 years of age. After which, the sum assured upon accidental death and permanent disablement is doubled.


4 Based on Singapore’s mainstream education system: ‘O’ Level, ‘A’ Level and three years of University education.


* Payable for up to 180 days per illness.


 Payable for up to 180 days per accident.

All ages specified refer to age next birthday.


This policy is only for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs). If you and your child are not Singapore Citizens or PRs, you have to meet certain residency requirements before you can apply for a policy or renew it.

It is usually detrimental to replace an existing accident and health plan with a new one. A penalty may be imposed for early plan termination and the new plan may cost more, or have less benefits at the same cost.


This plan is protected under the Policy Owners' Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your policy is automatic and no further action is required from you. In case of discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
