2. GREAT CareShield

This is for general information only. It is not a contract of insurance. The precise terms and conditions of this insurance plan are specified in the policy contract.

GREAT CareShield can be purchased by CareShield Life (CSHL) or ElderShield (ESH) policyholders. If purchased by ESH policyholders before the transfer of ESH to Government administration, GREAT CareShield will be considered as an ESH Supplement regulated under the CPF (Withdrawals for ElderShield Scheme) Regulations. If purchased by ESH policyholders after the transfer of ESH to Government administration or by CSHL policyholders, GREAT CareShield will be considered as a CSHL Supplement regulated under the CareShield Life and Long-Term Care Act.

3. General Insurance Promotion

  • This promotion applies to new policies purchased and issued from 7 June 2021 to 31 December 2021, both dates inclusive.
  • The promo code must be keyed in to be eligible for the promotion. Any incomplete entries will be disqualified to receive the promotion offers.
  • The promotion is applicable to the products and plan types as shown below:

a. HomeGR8 Plus (3-Year Plan),

b. MaidGR8 26-Month Plan (Plan B, BR, C and CR),

c. Drive and Save Plus (Comprehensive Plan).

d. To qualify for Drive and Save Plus, the policy will be subjected to:

- Applicable to Comprehensive Plan (new business) only;

- Minimum annual premium of SGD800 (before GST);

- Customer must not have any motor claims in the past three years;

- Restricted to private motor vehicle only.

e. Drive and Save Plus offer is not applicable to:

- Vehicles’ market value more than SGD 1 million;

- Vehicles under company’s name or commercial vehicle;

- Insured not driving policy;

- Motor insurance policies under any similar schemes such as private hire or GEG Corporate Staff Scheme.

  • With the purchase of Drive and Save Plus policy, the customer will receive 8,888 GREAT Dollars which will be allocated to their Great Eastern Rewards account two months after purchase and inception of the policy.
  • Customers without a Great Eastern Rewards account must download Great Eastern Rewards from the appstore and create an account.
  • The e-mail address provided in Great Eastern Rewards must be the same as the e-mail address provided to Great Eastern General Insurance Limited to ensure crediting of GREAT Dollars.
  • This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promo codes, discounts or promotions.
  • Great Eastern General Insurance Limited reserves the right to withdraw or amend the discount, terms and conditions of this promotion without prior notice. All decisions made by Great Eastern General Insurance Limited are final.
