Stay fit, win big.

1.        ActivChallenge (the “Campaign”) is organised by The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited (“Great Eastern”) and presented by ActivEdge (“Partner”). To be eligible for the Campaign, participants have to be Users of the Great Eastern Rewards mobile app (the “App”). A User refers to existing users who have been verified as a Great Eastern customer (including Dependants’ Protection Scheme (DPS) policyholders).                       

2.      The Campaign is limited to the first 1,000 Users who sign up via https://www.activedge.sg/all-programs/activchallenge-core-series from 3 October 2023 to 3 Jan 2024 and selects either #TeamHealth or #TeamTravel to join. There will be strictly no extension to the campaign period.

3.      ActivChallenge is an individual home-based fitness challenge where participants log on to ActivChallenge’s dashboard https://app.activedge.sg (“Dashboard”) and follow video workouts  to earn ActivChallenge points. Bonus ActivChallenge points are awarded to participants who submit video recordings of their workouts on the Dashboard. Participants accumulate ActivChallenge points to compete against other Participants of the ActivChallenge and to unlock rewards for redemption when milestones are met.

4.      By participating in the Campaign, each participant agrees and consents to Great Eastern and its related corporations (collectively, the "Companies"), as well as their respective representatives, the Companies' authorised service providers and relevant third parties (the Companies and all the other foregoing parties, collectively, “Great Eastern Persons”), collecting, using, disclosing, and/or sharing amongst themselves such personal data, for purposes reasonably required by the Great Eastern Persons to conduct and administer the Campaign which the participant is signing up for and such other purposes as described in Great Eastern's Privacy Statement (collectively, the “Purposes”) which is accessible from Great Eastern Singapore’s website, which each participant confirms they have read and understood. Users also confirm that they have read and accepted ActivEdge's Terms and Conditions (https://www.activedge.sg/terms-and-conditions) and Privacy Policy (https://www.activedge.sg/privacy-policy).

5.      Each participant’s consent herein supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents that participant may have previously provided to Great Eastern Persons, and each participant’s consents herein are cumulative and additional to any rights which any of the Great Eastern Persons may have to collect, use, and/or disclose of a participant’s Personal Data, with or without that participant’s consent, to the extent permitted under applicable law.

6.      In addition, where personal data of any person is disclosed by a participant, that participant further confirms and represents that the participant has obtained the consent of the person concerned for the Purposes, unless such consent is not required under applicable laws: (i) to collect such personal data; (ii) for the disclosure of such personal data to the Great Eastern Persons; and (iii) for the Great Eastern Persons’ collection, use and/or disclosure of such personal data.

7.      Campaign Rewards

a)      Complete at least 1 workout and submit a video recording of the full workout to receive 500 GREAT Dollars each, limited to the first 1,000 participants.

b)      Receive an additional 500 GREAT Dollars each, if the participant satisfies (a) and is one of the first 200 participants to sign up for the Campaign.

c)      Receive 10,000 GREAT Dollars  for finishing as one of the top 20 participants on the ActivChallenge leader board by the end of the campaign period. 

Campaign Rewards will be credited to eligible Users’ Great Eastern Rewards mobile app on 31 Oct, 30 Nov, 31 Dec 2023 and the final crediting of rewards on 15 Jan 2024.

8.      Shake & Win

Upon reaching 1,000 sign-ups in ActivChallenge, a Bonus Shake & Win game (“Shake &Win”) will be unlocked for eligible participants to stand a chance to win a Dyson Airwrap^TM styler Complete. 1 x Dyson Airwrap^TM styler Complete will be given away to each team. From 1 Dec 2023 to 7 Dec 2023, each member on #TeamHealth and #TeamTravel will be entitled to one (1) chance a day, to play Shake & Win.

9.      Eligible participants for Shake & Win will be notified via email and in-app notification on 24 Nov 2023. They can commence play on 1 Dec 2023 to 7 Dec 2023. Participants are reminded to enable their app notification in order not to miss out on the notification. 

10.   Winners shall self-collect their prizes from the location stated on the prize vouchers issued to winners. The prize voucher can be found in their App wallet located under ‘My Vouchers’. Prizes must be collected before the expiry date stated on the prize voucher. There will be strictly no extension to the expiry date of prize vouchers.

11.     Great Eastern shall be entitled at its sole and absolute discretion to replace or substitute any of the prizes with another item of equal or similar value selected by Great Eastern. Each prize is not exchangeable for cash or for any other items.

12.   Participants acknowledge and accept that each prize is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Great Eastern does not warrant, represent or guarantee the usability or quality of the prizes as they are provided by a third party. To the fullest extent permitted by the law, Great Eastern disclaims all warranties (whether express or implied) including but not limited to warranties that the prize will meet the prize winners’ requirements, warranties of satisfactory quality, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. All issues with regard to using each prize shall be directed to the relevant merchant that provided the prize and not to Great Eastern. Participants acknowledge and accept that the prize may also be subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the third party merchant providing the relevant prize.

13.   Selected winners will need to submit a testimonial relating to the App and the prize and Great Eastern shall take photographs of them during prize collection. Details collected include information on winners’ preferred name, title and thoughts on the App and on winning the prize. The testimonial and photograph will be used for the purposes of promoting Great Eastern and the Great Eastern Rewards application on Great Eastern’s website.

14.   Participants grant Great Eastern the rights necessary for distribution and public display of any content submitted as part of this Campaign, and hereby grants Great Eastern on a royalty-free basis the perpetual right to exclusively and without limitation freely use, modify, edit, copy, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, translate, create derivative works from, alter and publicly display or publish any such intellectual property, for whatever purposes including marketing and promotional, on Great Eastern’s website,  in relation to Great Eastern and Great Eastern Rewards, whether locally or worldwide.

15.   Participants grant Great Eastern the right to use information provided by the participant in their testimonial as well as to use their photo taken during the collection of prizes, on Great Eastern’s website for advertising and promotional purposes as well as in, on or in connection with Great Eastern and Great Eastern Rewards and hereby release Great Eastern from any liability with respect thereto.  

16.   Great Eastern shall not be liable for or be responsible in respect of any expenses, losses, costs, damages, liabilities or other consequences of whatsoever nature (collectively “Losses”) suffered or incurred directly or indirectly by participants of the Campaign howsoever caused or arising and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, whether by reason of or on account of any act or omission whether negligent or otherwise on the part of Great Eastern or its employees or agents.

17.   The decision of Great Eastern shall be final and binding on all participants. Notwithstanding anything herein, Great Eastern has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any participant for the Campaign.

18.   This Campaign is not valid with other offers or promotions held by Great Eastern unless otherwise stated.

19.   Great Eastern reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions or withdraw this Campaign at any time without prior notice.  

20.  By participating in the Campaign, the participants shall be deemed to have agreed to abide by all terms and conditions of participating in the Campaign as set out here, including any amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may from time to time be made by Great Eastern.

21.   The terms and conditions of the Campaign shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereto.
