Terms & Conditions

  1. The ‘Set your goals, stand to win’ game (the “Game”) is only applicable to participants who have submitted their responses to the ‘Set your goals, stand to win’ survey questions via the Great Eastern Rewards app from 7 Dec to 31 Dec 2023 (both dates inclusive) (the “Campaign Period”).
  2. Eligible participants will be notified via in-app notification on 8 Jan 2024 to play the Game from 8 Jan to 12 Jan 2024 for a chance to win one (1) of the following prizes:
    • 1x Dyson AirwrapTM styler Complete
    • 2x Samsonite Enow Spinner Luggage 55cm
    • 3x Trip for 4 pax to Bird Paradise
  3. To play the Game, participants log in to their Great Eastern Rewards app, look for the Play & Win bubble icon on the homepage to enter the Game and follow the on-screen steps to shake their mobile device for a chance to win.
  4. Winners shall self-collect their prizes from the location stated on the prize vouchers issued. The prize vouchers can be found in their App wallet located under ‘My Vouchers’. Prizes must be collected before the expiry date stated on the prize voucher. There will be strictly no extension to the expiry date of prize vouchers.
  5. Each participant is entitled to one chance to shake and win.
  6. Participants are only eligible to win once throughout the Campaign Period.
  7. By participating in the Giveaway, each participant agrees and consents to The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited (“Great Eastern”) and its related corporations (collectively, the "Companies"), as well as their respective representatives, the Companies' authorised service providers and relevant third parties (the Companies and all the other foregoing parties, collectively, “Great Eastern Persons”), collecting, using, disclosing, and/or sharing amongst themselves such personal data, for purposes reasonably required by the Companies to conduct the Campaign which the participant is signing up for and such other purposes as described in Great Eastern's Privacy Statement (collectively, the “Purposes”) which is accessible from Great Eastern’s website, which each participant confirms they have read and understood.
  8. Each participant’s consent herein supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents that participant may have previously provided to Great Eastern Persons, and each participant’s consents herein are cumulative and additional to any rights which any of the Great Eastern Persons may have to collect, use, and/or disclose of a participant’s Personal Data, with or without that participant’s consent, to the extent permitted under applicable law.
  9. The prize is non-exchangeable for cash or for any other items.
  10. The receipt of the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the merchant providing the prize.
  11. Great Eastern makes no representation as to the quality or performance of the goods provided by the merchant.
  12. Great Eastern shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death in connection with the Campaign, or any prize provided by a third party.  except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law). If applicable, all warranty claims in regards to a prize should be directed to the applicable manufacturer. Except to the extent that they may not be excluded by law, no representations, warranties, terms or conditions that are not expressly stated in these terms and conditions apply to this Campaign nor in respect of the prize and all implied warranties are excluded, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the prize.
  13. Great Eastern will not be responsible for any injuries, loss, claim or damage suffered or incurred in connection with the Campaign and/or any notices, letters or correspondence lost, stolen or misdirected in the postal system or telecommunication system, and the consequences arising from the non-receipt of such communication.
  14. Great Eastern reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or withdraw the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
  15. Great Eastern's decisions in all matters related to the Campaign prizes and prize winner(s) shall be final. No correspondence or appeals shall be entertained in relation thereto.
  16. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or other promotional materials or communications relating to the Campaign, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
  17. By participating in the Campaign, you hereby agree to all the terms and conditions of participation in the Campaign as set out herein, including all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may from time to time be made by Great Eastern.
  18. Participants agree that Great Eastern has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any person to participate in this Campaign. If Great Eastern subsequently determines that a person is in fact not eligible, for any reason whatsoever, Great Eastern may at its discretion, disqualify the participant and clawback the prize without prior notice.
  19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. The Courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.
