YBhg. Dato Koh Yaw Hui was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company since 21 January 2008. He has over 20 years of insurance experience and is responsible for the overall strategic direction and business growth of the Company.

Dato Koh presently sits on the Board of several companies, including L.I.A.M Holdings Sdn Bhd, L.I.A.M Property Sdn Bhd, and Malaysian Life Reinsurance Group Berhad.

Dato Koh holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) in Economics from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is a Fellow of Life Management Institute, USA and a Registered Financial Planner.

Mr Loke joined Great Eastern Life Malaysia in 2013 and is responsible for Corporate Finance, Actuarial, Accounting, Financial Controls and Tax functions.

Mr Loke holds a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science from City University London. He is also a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Ms Gan has been appointed as the Chief Operations Officer on 1 January 2025.

Ms Gan is responsible for managing the overall operations to long-term optimization, improvement and innovation. Her role is to ensure efficient and effective operations in areas of underwriting and claims (Life and Medical), customer service and nationwide branch operations.

Formerly a Great Eastern scholar, she has been with the company since 2003 and has served in various roles within the company, including Head of Healthcare Services and Head of Operations Planning.

She holds a Bachelor of Science (Statistics) from University of Malaya.

Mr Koh has been with Great Eastern Life Malaysia since October 2007. He was appointed as Chief Agency Distribution Officer on 1 April 2022.

Mr Koh is responsible for Agency Distribution Channel, Centre For Excellence, Agency Support Department, Strategic Business Development Unit, Agency Recruitment and Productivity, Agency Planning and Performance, Events and Promotion.

Mr Koh holds a Bachelor of Degree in Management (Technology) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Mr Lee joined Great Eastern Life Malaysia in July 2024. He is responsible for the Marketing
Division functions namely Marketing & Customer Management and Digital Enabled Sales
Department, Product Development & Management Department and Brand &
Communications Department.

Mr Lee holds a degree in Business Studies from Ottawa University in the United States.

Mr Jong has been with Great Eastern Life Malaysia since 2001, and currently oversees Investment as the Chief Investment Officer. Mr Jong is responsible for the management of all investment portfolios which include Equities, Fixed Income, Corporate Loans, and Cash Management amongst others.

He holds a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management with distinction and a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Accounting from The University of Hull, UK. He is also a Certified Financial Planner and has passed the Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate with distinction.

Ms Chung has been with Great Eastern Life Malaysia since 2005 and is responsible for managing and directing the activities of the Internal Audit function. She provides independent and objective assessments to help improve the quality and effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control processes within the company.

Ms Chung holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Canberra, Australia. She is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) of CPA Australia.

Mr Chan has been with Great Eastern Life Malaysia since May 2009. He is responsible for delivering the TWP and NBEV targets for Bancassurance and ensuring strong management with bank partners.

Mr Chan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Actuarial Science from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Mr Chan has been with Great Eastern Life Malaysia since 2006 and is responsible for the management of the Actuarial function of the Life insurance business. He also ensures that the business is conducted on a sound financial basis with due regard to policyholders' reasonable expectations.

Mr Chan holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Actuarial Science from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Mr Chin joined Great Eastern Life Malaysia in 2007. He is responsible for providing leadership in developing and implementing IT solutions that align with corporate business objectives, which are cost effective, yet provide a high quality of service to ensure a robust operating environment. Mr Chin is also responsible for technology risk management and IT governance.

Mr Chin holds a Bachelor of Business from RMIT University, Australia and is a Fellow of Life Management Institute, USA.

Ms Liza has been with Great Eastern Life Malaysia since 2002 and heads the Company Secretariat and Legal Division.

Appointed as the Company Secretary for Great Eastern Group of Companies in Malaysia, Ms Liza is responsible for providing professional corporate secretarial and legal advisory services, ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as good corporate governance.

Ms Liza holds an LLB (Hons) from Aberystwyth University, Wales, UK. She is an Advocate and Solicitor, High Court of Malaya (currently non-practising); a Licensed Secretary and also a Fellow of Life Management Institute, USA.

Mr Tan has been part of Great Eastern Life Malaysia since June 2014. He oversees the full spectrum of Human Capital and Office Services functions.

He holds an MBA from Warnborough University, UK and is a Life Member of Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management.

Mr Teo has been with Great Eastern Life Malaysia since 2010. He was appointed as Division Head of Risk Management on 1 January 2023. Mr Teo is responsible for the company’s risk management operations and strategies.

Mr Teo holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) degree from the University of Western Australia. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and holds a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) of Australia.

Ms Helen joined Great Eastern Life Malaysia in 2011. She was appointed as Division Head of Compliance on 1 January 2023.

As the Division Head, Ms Helen is primarily responsible for the management of regulatory and compliance risks within the company.

Ms Helen holds an LL.B (Hons) from University of Malaya. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

Mr Law was appointed as Division Head, Group Insurance and Employee Benefits in October
2022.

As the Division Head, Mr Law is responsible for the Group Insurance Employee Benefits
Division which oversees Pricing & Portfolio Management, Marketing, Sales Support and
Credit Control.

He has been with the company since 2021 and has served as the Head of Group Insurance
Employee Benefits within the company.

He holds a Diploma in Commerce from Tunku Abdul Rahman College and is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).

Ms Wynn has been appointed as Division Head, Group and Digital Affinity in October 2022.

As the Division Head, she is responsible for spearheading business expansion through
innovative channels and strategic partnerships, with a strong focus on digital transformation to achieve revenue growth and operational efficiency. Ms Wynn is also responsible for
advancing financial inclusion, particularly for Malaysia's B40 and M40 segments.

Ms Wynn has been with the company since 2020, and has served in various roles within the company, including Head of Digital Affinity, Digital for Business and Head of Group & Digital Affinity.

She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Mr Jeremy Yeap joined the Company on 1st February 2025 as the Chief Executive Officer, where he is responsible for the strategic direction and business growth of the Company.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and holds an Associate’s Degree (General Insurance) from Asian Institute of Insurance. He is also a Chartered Insurer and Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

Mr Cheng Chuen Chee has been with the Company since 2011.

He is responsible for managing corporate finance, business planning, strategy, corporate services & administration functions for the Company.

Chuen Chee graduated from the National University of Malaysia.    

Mr Jarron Khoo joined the Company in May 2023 and is responsible for the management of Underwriting & Policy Processing Management division.

He is a Chartered Insurer and a recepient of the Malaysian Insurance Institute's Chairman Award.

Mr Steven Tai has been with the company since 1995 and is responsible for Corporate Distribution Division. His role is to develop and expand the sections of Bancasurrance, Broking, Franchise Car Dealer and Direct Channels. He had previously held the position of Branch Distribution Head.

He holds a Professional Insurance Qualification, Associate of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII) and graduated from Tuanku Abdul Rahman College (TARC)

Ms Eileen Yap has been with the Company since 2014 and is responsible for Claims Management. She handles all matters relating to Motor and Non-Motor claims.

She graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce (Management) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She also possesses the professional qualifications of Associateship of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (AMII)

Mr William Tan Wee Leng joined the Company in 2021 and is responsible for the management of agency distribution.

He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Hawaii Pacific University and MBA from the Southern Cross University.

Mr Chew Han Wah joined the Company in January 2023 and is responsible for the management of the Actuarial function of the General insurance business.

Mr Chew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA), Fellow of Actuarial Society of Malaysia (FASM) and Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA).

Ms Lucy Loo joined the Company in 2024 and is responsible for the growth of Retail consumer market segment through various distribution channels, partnership affinity, product management and digital transformation under the Retail and Digital division.

She holds a Master of Business Administration, specialised in strategic marketing from University of Southern Queensland.
