Dato Koh Yaw Hui

CEO, Great Eastern Life Malaysia

With Great Eastern since 2002. Responsible for the Malaysia Conventional Life business.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Economics, Universiti Sains Malaysia; Fellow of Life Management Institute, USA; Registered Financial Planner (RFP); Shariah RFP.

Ronnie Tan

Group Chief Financial Officer

With Great Eastern since 2002. Responsible for Corporate Finance, Actuarial, Accounting, Financial Controls and Tax functions for the Group, as well as Investor Relations.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Highest Distinction), University of Nebraska-Lincoln; Fellow of the Society of Actuaries; Chartered Financial Analyst.

Jeffrey Lowe

Group Chief Internal Auditor

With Great Eastern since 2019. Responsible for the independent and objective assessment of the Group’s risk management, internal control and governance processes through internal audit.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours), Nanyang Technological University; Associate Chartered Accountant, Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales.

Chua Keng Hong

Group Chief Investment Officer

Joined Great Eastern since 2015. Responsible for formulating the Group’s investment strategies and management of all investments within the Group.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (1st Class Honours), National University of Singapore; Master of Engineering, National University of Singapore; Chartered Financial Analyst.

Kate Chiew

Group Chief Risk Officer

Joined Great Eastern since 2021. Responsible for the overall risk management of the Group, including market, credit, liquidity, insurance, operational, technology and compliance risks.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science, University of Calgary, Canada; Fellow of the Society of Actuaries; Chartered Financial Analyst.

Jennifer Wong Pakshong

Group Company Secretary and General Counsel

With Great Eastern since 2009 and the Group since 1999. Oversees the corporate secretarial and legal functions across the Group.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (Honours), University of Bristol (UK); Master of Laws (with Merit), University College London; Degree of an Utter Barrister, Gray’s Inn (UK); admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

Gary Goh

MD, Group IT 

With Great Eastern since January 2025. Over 28 years of experience in IT and has held leadership positions in technology, digital, and governance strategy across an international landscape. Responsible for the Group’s IT and digitalisation efforts to deliver digital and IT solutions to improve customer experience and to support business growth.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, University of Malaya.

James Lee

MD, Group Human Capital

With Great Eastern since 1997. Responsible for human capital and change programmes across the Group, with priority on developing an inclusive and collaborative workplace and high-performance culture.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, University of Hawaii, USA; Master of Business Administration in Finance, Hawaii Pacific University, USA.

Jimmy Tong

MD, General and Group Insurance

Joined Great Eastern since 2016. Leads and oversees the General and Group Insurance business across all markets in the Group.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration, National University of Singapore; Chartered Financial Analyst.

Kwek-Perroy Li Choo

MD, Group Integrated Propositions and Platforms 

With Great Eastern since September 2025. Over 25 years of experience and has held senior leadership positions across actuarial and finance, strategy development, product development and marketing, data analytics, customer experience design and digital transformation. Responsible for driving a unified, customer-centric strategy that delivers innovative propositions, integrated solutions and personalised customerexperiences.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Business in Actuarial Science, Nanyang Technological University; Diploma in Actuarial Techniques, Institute of Actuaries, UK.

Patrick Kok

MD, Group Operations

With Great Eastern since 2009. Leads and oversees the Customer Service, Underwriting and Claims departments across the Group, with strong focus on delivering customer service excellence.

MD, Group Data and AI

With Great Eastern since 2022. Over 20 years of experience in Data, Analytics & AI and has held leadership positions leading data-driven transformation across various industries. Responsible for improving customer experience, operational efficiency and risk management through Data, Analytics & AI, and empower teams at Great Eastern to make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications: Bachelor and Masters in Mathematics, Northeast Normal University (China); Ph.D. in Statistics, National University of Singapore.
