Important Note - Cessation of PIAM Approved Repairer Scheme

PIAM Approved Repairer Scheme (PARS) will cease officially on 1 August 2025, in line with industry-wide initiatives.

For Private Car Comprehensive and Third Party, Fire & Theft policies issued before 26 October 2024 still reference PARS in the definition of “Approved Repairer”, customer may continue to send the accident vehicle to either:

  • Our panel workshops, or
  • Any PARS workshop that remains listed under PIAM as of 31 July 2025 from 1 August 2025 until the respective policy expiry date.

For Private Car policies issued from 26 October 2024 onwards, the definition of “Approved Repairer” no longer includes PARS. Therefore, in the event of an accident repair, the arrangement will follow the updated policy wording, with panel workshops being the primary option.
