Change premium payment method
Follow our step-by-step guide to change your payment method for policy premiums.
Credit card payment is not supported for policies purchased before 1 July 2014, and only the OCBC Great Eastern Cashflo card is supported for policies purchased before 15 October 2020.

How to change payment method
Great Eastern App
If you are unable to change the payment method for your policy via the Great Eastern App, you may proceed with a manual submission. Please continue to make premium payments as per the existing method until the new payment method is approved.
1. Download form
You will need to download and complete the application form depending on your policy type.
- Application form for changes to life policies
- Application form for changes to accident and health policies (except for GREAT CareShield and ElderShield Supplement)
- Change Payment Method & Authorisation for GREAT CareShield and ElderShield Supplement
- GIRO form
2. Submission
You can visit any of our Customer Service Centres, or send the completed application form to us by post.
Note: For GIRO applications, the original hard copy application form is required.

Questions and Answers
This may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Your policy has no more future premiums expected.
- Your policy is under trust.
- Your policy has GIRO or credit card deductions in progress.
- Currently, only policies with premiums in SGD are allowed.
- Your policy only accepts payment from CPF-OA, CPF-SA, or SRS.
You may wish to approach your Financial Representative to assist you with this request.
The effective date for your change may not be immediate. You can refer to the effective date in the request notification in the Great Eastern App. In the meantime, please continue to pay your premium on the stated due date.
