Getting started

All you need is a valid email address.

Yes, you can create your own Great ID account, to access Great Eastern Rewards mobile application but you will not have access to features exclusive to Great Eastern Policyholders.

We encourage you to have a unique Great ID account to ensure that you are given access to the right services.

Create a Great ID account

Use Great ID to sign in securely to digital services such as the Great Eastern app, eConnect and Great Eastern Rewards. 

Great ID is a unique sign-in identity used to manage your Great Eastern digital services. Great ID is available to both Great Eastern policyholders and non-Great Eastern policyholders.

Here are the steps to take to create a Great ID account. Please note our Privacy Policy before signing up:

  1. Go to the Great ID sign in screen on eConnect or any Great Eastern mobile applications (Great Eastern appGreat Eastern Rewards) and register for a Great ID account.
  2. Enter the following information:
    1. Your name.
    2. A valid email address. This will be used as your sign-in ID.
    3. Create a password.
  3. Follow the instructions on the next screen to verify your email address. You can find the verification code in your email inbox.

Note: If you get a message that there is already an account with the email address you provided, then it is likely that an account was created earlier. Please refer to “What should I do if I forget my password?” for instructions on how to retrieve your password.

Verifying yourself as a Great Eastern policyholder will allow us to give you access to the right digital services.

Here are the steps to take to verify yourself:

  1. If you already have Great ID but has not verified as policyholder, there are 2 ways to verify yourself
    1. Go to eConnect or Great Eastern app, sign in with your Great ID and follow the instructions to verify yourself as a Great Eastern Customer.
    2. Go to Great Eastern Rewards “Me” page, and verify yourself as a Great Eastern Customer.
  2. You will be asked to provide either,
    • Identification Number
    • Date of birth
    • Gender
    • Identification number
    • Policy number (from any one of your policies)
  3. OR

  4. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number in our records. If this is not your mobile number, on this page, select “Update your records”, and you can update us using SingPass MyInfo.
  5. Enter the OTP and you’re done with the verification process.

The policy number is an 8- or 10-digit number (omit the dash when key in the policy number) found in the following documents:

  • Policy schedule page
  • Renewal premium notice
  • Payment official receipt

There might be a mismatch of your details in our records. Please update your details or contact our customer service.

Change Great ID password or unlock account

Sign in with your Great ID at sso-sgweb.greateasternlife.com to change your password.

  1. In the Great ID sign in screen, go to the “forgot your password” link.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Verify your email address by using the verification code sent to your email inbox.
  4. Enter a new password.

You can unlock your account by resetting your password via the “forgot your password” link.

Update Great ID OTP mobile number

Follow the steps below if you wish to change the mobile number used to receive your Great ID one-time password (OTP).

There are 2 ways you can update your mobile number:

  1. If you are an existing eConnect or Great Eastern app user, you may sign in to eConnect or Great Eastern app to update your mobile number.
  2. If you are not an existing user, you may sign up for Great ID and update your mobile number via Singpass Myinfo during the sign up process.
  3. Alternatively, you can download and complete the Update of Personal Particulars form and send it to us through one of the following ways:
    1. Email it to wecare-sg@greateasternlife.com.
    2. Mail it to 1 Pickering Street, #01-01 Great Eastern Centre, Singapore 048659.
    3. Submit it in person to our Customer Service Centres at Great Eastern Centre or Great Eastern @ Changi from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Sign in with Singpass

Great Eastern app

Step 1. Select “Singpass” from the login screen.

Step 2. Tap on the Singpass QR code. You’ll automatically be directed to the Singpass mobile app.

Step 3. Log in using your Singpass biometric or 6-digit passcode.

Step 4. Upon a successful login, you’ll be directed back to the Great Eastern Singapore app.

You can download the Singpass Mobile app on Google Play or the Apple App Store. Once downloaded, follow the instructions in the app and complete a one-time setup.

Yes, you can still access the Great Eastern Singapore app using Great ID and biometrics.

No, we’ll need you to use your Singpass mobile app to log in.

Sensitive transactions, such as fund switching, will not be available when you log in using the Singpass mobile app. If you’ve already signed up for Great ID, you can use it to connect to the Great Eastern Singapore app for full access. Otherwise, register for Great ID before signing in to the Great Eastern Singapore app.

Set up biometric sign-in

You can enable GreatID biometric sign-in on Great Eastern app and Great Eastern Rewards app for a more seamless login experience.

Sign in using biometric authentication so you don’t have to remember another User ID and password. Activate “Biometric login” found in the “More” tab

For Great Eastern policyholders

You will still be able to sign in to your Great ID account and continue using Great Eastern Rewards.
