Apart from its scholarship programmes, Great Eastern also provide internships as well as Management Trainee programmes to promote sector talent development. We sponsor employees for the LOMA (Life Office Management Association) training and examinations and our efforts in this area have been recognised through clinching the LOMA Educational Achievement Awards since 2009.

The Company also offers comprehensive training to new staff to orientate them into their role and new working environment, as well as persistent training programmes throughout their career with Great Eastern so that they benefit from continued professional development as their career flourishes with the organisation. The Company recognises in-house talent and place strong emphasis on promoting internally, fast-tracking staff on appropriate career tracks as well as developing future leaders from within the firm.

In our pursuit of promoting and grooming in-house talent, Great Eastern also supports education at the workplace through our Educational Assistance Programme e.g. LOMA, MII and others that provides support in the form of study leave, examination subsidy, professional memberships, course fee assistance as well as special salary increment upon successful completion of appropriate courses or passing of recognised papers.
