    • GREAT Comprehensive Care – offers  freelancers and gig economy workers hospitalisation income, personal accident coverage and outpatient care, all in one single policy

Responding to the needs of the community

Many children with special needs are unable to manage their finances when transitioning into adulthood. To provide support and build financial inclusion, we’ve partnered with the SNTC, offering the Great Eastern Cares Term Plan. The plan provides affordable long-term coverage for families with special needs, giving caregivers the assurance that their dependants will always be looked after.

  • Launching a series of products to provide COVID-19 assistance:

     

    • COVID-19 Deferment of Premium Payment Programme, which allowed Singapore and Malaysia policyholders to defer premium payment so that they could enjoy uninterrupted insurance protection

    • COVID-19 Customer Care Fund, a financial assistance programme that provided policyholders and their immediate family members with hospitalisation benefits and/or inpatient treatment resulting from vaccination

    • We pledged over S$2 million in support packages for customers across the region affected by COVID-19 and offered flexible premium payment schemes to our customers
