Following the recent announcement by the Ministry of Health on new requirements for Integrated Shield Plan (IP) riders, click here for information on what this means for Great Eastern's medical plans.
If you want to terminate your GREAT CareShield or ElderShield supplementary plan, note that the cancellation will take effect from the next renewal date. There will be no refund of premiums unless cancellation is within the 60-day freelook period.
Any wish to reinstate your plan back to full coverage or rejoin the scheme is subject to a health declaration and evaluation.
Convert to a reduced paid-up plan
If your policy is eligible, we will automatically convert it to a reduced paid-up plan.
This means that you can continue to enjoy coverage at a reduced benefit amount without having to pay any more premiums.
Did you know?
You can terminate your plan or convert it to a paid-up plan via your Financial Representative, and they can also help follow up on your specific needs.
