List of Serious Illnesses

If you are suffering from the following Serious Illnesses, you may not be eligible for a DPS cover or your DPS cover may be subjected to terms and conditions.

Ischaemic heart disease/Coronary heart disease, heart valves disorders or arrhythmia (irregular heartbeats)

B

Cancer

CStroke/Cerebrovascular disorders, tumour of the brain or Arteriovenous Malformation
DRenal failure or renal dialysis
E

Diabetes with complications

F

Chronic liver disorders, liver cirrhosis, hepatic encephalopathy or liver failure

GAIDS/HIV infection
HDementia/Alzheimer’s disease
ISevere psychiatric or mental illness
JMotor neuron disease
KMuscular dystrophy
LParalysis (Hemiplegia/Paraplegia/Quadriplegia)
MChronic lung disease
NRheumatoid arthritis with complications
OMultiple sclerosis
PSystemic lupus erythematosus with complications
QParkinson disease with complications
RPulmonary hypertension
SAplastic anaemia, Thalassaemia major or severe blood disorders
TAny illness, excluding those mentioned from (A) to (S), which is likely to lead to a limb/spinal/eye/mental condition 
UAny other illness, excluding those mentioned from (A) to (T), which is certified by a medical practitioner registered under the Medical Registration Act to be a serious illness
