Great FinChamp Monthly Challenge 2026

1. The Great FinChamp Monthly Challenge 2026 For Parents and Children (the “Challenge”) is owned by The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited (the “Owner” or “Great Eastern”) and it is designed to be played by children aged 7 - 12 who are born between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2019. 

2. To participate in the Challenge, all the requirements as set out in these terms and conditions must be fulfilled:

(a) A parent and their child (the “Participant(s)”) must participate in the Great FinChamp Financial Literacy Game (the “Game”), complete and submit the Challenge form with the requested personal particulars as set out in the form between 0900hrs on the first day of each month and 2359hrs on the last day of each month. All times stated are in Singapore Time, UTC +08:00. All entries received before or afterthe stipulated timings will automatically be disqualified;

(b) All Participants must be physically present and residing in Singapore;

(c) Check the “Agree to all” box in the Challenge form as Participant(s) need to provide their consent for the collection, use and disclosure of theirs and their child(ren)’s personal data for purposes related to the Challenge. This also includes consent to receive exclusive promotions, offers, customer rewards and/or product offerings from Great Eastern, its related corporations, business partners and their respective representatives and agents via email, post, WhatsApp, SMS and other phone-based messages, voice calls and posts. Where the personal data required includes the personal data of the child, the participant declares that the personal data pertaining to his/her child is true and correct and that his/her child is /are aware of and consents to Great Eastern and their authorised service providers processing their personal data for the purposes stated herein;

(d) Each parent represents and warrants for the benefit of Great Eastern that the information submitted to Great Eastern istrue, accurate, complete and up to date.

(e) Each parent shall submit only one Challenge form per child, per month in 2026. In the event that Great Eastern receives more than one Challenge form using the same personal particulars or if there is more than one Challenge form submitted for the same child in the same month, Great Eastern will only accept the first duly completed Challenge form  and subsequent submissions will be void. Each child is only eligible to win once during the Challenge period in 2026. All subsequent Challenge forms submitted for that child in the months following their win, will be void.  

3. The Challenge offers an opportunity for the first 300 participants who complete the challenge by 2359hrs on the last day of each month to each receive a $10 Decathlon Gift Card.

4. Only participants who have: (a) submitted an entry that meets all the criteria of the Challenge; and (b) are amongst the first 300 participants tocomplete the challenge by 2359hrs on the last day of each month, will be eligible for a Prize. 

5. Winners of the Challenge will be contacted within 15 working days after the end of the Challenge via the email address (the "Notification Message") submitted to Great Eastern. The Notification Message will setout the process for redemption of the Prizes. 

6. At the point of collection of the Prizes, the winners must not have withdrawn their marketing consent, which must be provided at the point ofparticipating in the Challenge.

7. By registering for the Challenge, each Participant agrees and consents to Great Eastern and its related corporations (collectively, the “Companies”), as well as their respective representatives, agents, and relevant third parties (the Companies and all the other foregoing parties, collectively, “Great Eastern Persons”), collecting, using, disclosing, and/or sharing amongst themselves the Participant’s and where applicable, her child(ren)’s personal data, for purposes reasonably required by the Companies to (i) administer and conduct the Challenge; (ii) measuring the success of the Challenge; and (iii) obtaining feedback from participants on the Challenge; and such other purposes as described in Great Eastern’s Privacy Statement (collectively, the “Purposes”) which is accessible from Great Eastern Singapore’s website, which each Participant confirms they have read and understood. You may withdraw yourconsent at any time Great Eastern Singapore’s website at https://www.greateasternlife.com/sg/en/marketing-consent-preferences-form.html.

8. A Participant’s consents herein supplement but do not supersede nor replace any other consents that Participant may have previously provided Great Eastern Persons, and that Participant’s consents herein are cumulative and additional to any rights which any of the Great Eastern Persons may have to collect, use and/or disclose of my/our personal data, with or without that Participant’s consent, to the extent permitted under applicable law.

9. In addition, where personal data of any person is disclosed by a Participant, that Participant further confirms and represents that they have obtained the consent of the individual concerned for the Purposes, unless such consent is not required under applicable laws: (i) to collect such personal data; (ii) for the disclosure of such personal data to the Great Eastern Persons; and (iii) for the Great Eastern Persons’ collection, use and/or disclosure of such personal data.

10. By signing up for the Challenge, including but not limited to completion and submission of the online registration form, each Participant: 

(a)    acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms and conditions; and 

(b)    where applicable, the Participant acknowledges and agrees on behalf of her child(ren) to abide by these terms and conditions and any amendments that may be made from time to time.

11. Any form of cheating, multiple entries from the same participant with different Game ID, or manipulation of the game will result in immediate disqualification. 

12. The decision of Great Eastern shall be final and binding on all participants. Notwithstanding anything herein, Great Eastern has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any participant for the Challenge. Great Eastern reserves the right to disqualify and withdraw the participation of any person who is non-compliant with the terms and conditions of the Challenge, in its sole and absolute discretion. Should a participant be deemed ineligible after the announcement of winners of the Challenge has been made, Great Eastern reserves the right to disqualify such participant and clawback the Prize if such Prize has already been awarded or utilized.

13. Great Eastern shall be entitled at its sole and absolute discretion to replace or substitute the Prizes with another item of equal or similar value selected by Great Eastern. The Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or for any other items.

14. This Challenge is not valid with other offers or promotions held by Great Eastern unless otherwise stated.

15. Participants acknowledge and accept that the Prizes are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Great Eastern does not warrant, represent or guarantee the usability or quality of the Prizes as they are provided by a third party. To the fullest extent permitted by the law, Great Eastern disclaims all warranties (whether express or implied) including but not limited to warranties that the Prizes will meet the Prize winners’ requirements, warranties of satisfactory quality, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. All issues with regard to using a Prize shall be directed to the applicable merchant and not to Great Eastern. Participants acknowledge and accept that the Prizes are subject to additional terms and conditions imposed by the third-party merchant providing the Prize.

16. Participants acknowledge and accept that they may be required to use third party programmes, software, websites and applications and will be subject to the terms and conditions, including privacy policies, governing a participant’s use of such third party programmes, websites and applications. Great Eastern has no control over the rights and obligations governing a participant’s use of any third party’s programmes, software, websites and applications. Further, Great Eastern shall not be liable for any incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected entries for any reason whatsoever or problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers or technical problems, or any combination thereof.

17. Great Eastern shall not be liable for or be responsible in respect of any expenses, losses, costs, injuries, damages, liabilities or other consequences of whatsoever nature (collectively “Losses”) suffered or incurred directly or indirectly by participants of the Challenge howsoever caused or arising and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, whether by reason of or on account of any act or omission whether negligent or otherwise on the part of Great Eastern or its employees or agents.

18. Great Eastern reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions or withdraw this Challenge at any time without prior notice. 

19. By participating in the Challenge, the participants shall be deemed to have agreed to abide by all terms and conditions of participating in the Challenge as set out here, including any amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may from time to time be made by Great Eastern.

20. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any marketing or other promotional materials or communications relating to the Challenge, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

21. The terms and conditions of the Challenge shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereto.
