A health scare in her 20s led Rachel into the world of nutrition. Realizing the power of food for health, she enrolled in dietetics at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
As a registered dietitian at Pantai Hospital Ipoh (PHI), she helped delay dialysis for Mrs. Tan, a 58-year-old with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease, by eight years through tailored dietary care.

Inspired by such success, Rachel co-founded 食医派 (My Dietitian Next Door) in 2018, creating a digital hub for nutrition education. Their first viral post on ‘detox’ diets reached 100,000 readers in its debut week.

Now in its fifth year, the platform has grown into a community of 11,000, offering meal plans, virtual classes, and consultations.
Rachel’s journey, from USM to PHI and now across the nation, shows her dedication to making nutrition accessible for all.
