Great Eastern is aware of a false message circulating regarding removal of e-filing

Great Eastern is aware of a false message circulating on WhatsApp claiming that electronic filing submission (e-file) process for Parkway East Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena, and Gleneagles Hospital has been removed. e-file is a national Ministry of Health (MOH) system for submitting electronic claims from accredited facilities, such as hospitals and specialist clinics, to Integrated Shield Plan (IP) insurers. This system is mandatory and cannot be suspended by any insurer, including Great Eastern.

Great Eastern is investigating the source of this false message. Customers seeking or planning treatment can be assured their IP benefits and claim processes remain unchanged.
