Letter of Guarantee

Issued by your insurer, the Letter of Guarantee (LOG) is a document you can provide to hospitals during admission and/or prior to surgery so that you can skip paying the cash payment.

You would need the following documents: 

  1. Hospital admission documents 
  2. Cost care form or financial counselling form  
  3. Referral letter from the consulting doctor 
  1. Log in to the Great Eastern Corporate app. 
  2. Tap Letter of guarantee. 
  3. Tap Submit a new request. 
  4. Read the introductory information regarding letters of guarantee and tap Next. 
  5. Complete the questionnaire and tap Next. 
  6. Upload the relevant supporting documents (only PDF, PNG, or JPEG files not exceeding 3MB per file accepted). Tap Next. 
  7. Ensure that the information you have provided is accurate. Check the box to indicate your agreement to the declaration statements and tap Submit. 
  8. View your request submission status. 

In an emergency, call the number that is located in the app to request a Letter of Guarantee. 
  1. Log in to the Great Eastern Corporate app. 
  2. Tap Letter of guarantee. 
  3. Under “Letter of Guarantee requests”, your letters of guarantee would be listed, with an indication of whether the request has been submitted, is being processed, or has been approved.
