1. This event ‘Investment and Tax-savings Strategies to Build a Richer Retirement’ (the “Event”) is organised by The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited (“Great Eastern”) and is an invite-only event open to prospects or selected Great Eastern policyholders who have received the event’s invitation from Great Eastern or their representatives. Invitees must indicate their interest to attend the Event by providing their Name, Email address and Mobile number to their representatives for registration and must receive Great Eastern’s acceptance of their registration via email (each a “Participant”, collectively the “Participants”) to be eligible for entry to the Event. Great Eastern reserves the right to limit the number of Participants at its discretion and to close registration for the event. Great Eastern shall not be obliged to grant admission to the Event to any person who is not a Participant.

2. The Event will be held on Saturday 8 November 2025 from 10.00am to 1.00pm at Centre for Excellence (CFE), 1 Pickering Street, Level 2, Great Eastern Centre, Singapore 048659.

3. Activities at the Event include exclusive offers such as discounted will-writing services, voucher giveaway upon completion of a Retirement Survey Form, lucky dip, talks by invited speakers and a fair where participating merchants will have booths offering their goods and/or services in addition to exclusive deals.

Voucher Giveaway

4. Participants must complete and successfully submit the Retirement Survey Form provided during the event to be entitled to ONE (1) twenty dollar voucher. 

5. Availability of the voucher is limited and on a first come first served basis. The voucher is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services. Each participant is entitled to receive ONE (1) twenty dollar voucher only.

6. The Participant must show up at the event venue, on the date of the Event within the timing specified at paragraph 2 and complete the Retirement Survey Form - to collect their voucher. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the voucher.

Personal Data

7. By participating in the Event and/or other activities of the Event, each Participant consents to Great Eastern and its related corporations (collectively, the “Companies”), as well as their respective representatives, agents, authorised service providers and relevant third parties (collectively, “Great Eastern Persons”) collecting, using, disclosing and/or sharing amongst themselves, the Participant’s personal data for purposes reasonably required by the Great Eastern Persons to administer registration and attendance for the Event, send communications in connection with the Event, exclusive offers, voucher giveaway, provide the services and products on offer at the Event and such other purposes as described in Great Eastern’s Privacy Statement (collectively, the “Purposes”) which is accessible from Great Eastern’s website at https://www.greateasternlife.com, which the Participant confirms having read and understood.

8. Each Participant’s consents herein supplement but do not supersede nor replace any other consents which the Participant may have previously provided to Great Eastern Persons, and the Participant’s consents herein are cumulative and additional to any rights which any of the Great Eastern Persons may have to collect, use, and/or disclose of that Participant’s Personal Data, with or without that Participant’s consent, to the extent permitted under applicable law.

9. In addition, where personal data of any person is disclosed by a Participant, the Participant further confirms and represents that the Participant has obtained the consent of the individual concerned for the Purposes, unless such consent is not required under applicable law: (i) to collect such personal data; (ii) for the disclosure of such personal data to the Great Eastern Persons; and (iii) for the Great Eastern Persons’ collection, use and/or disclosure of such personal data.

10. You may withdraw any consent given or deemed to have been given in relation to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by submitting your request via the following methods:

Participants agree that any remedies or recourse sought due to issues arising from use of the products or services shall be sought directly from the relevant merchant providing the products or services.

13. Great Eastern may replace or withdraw any of the offers at the Event at any time without notice or liability.

14. Great Eastern has the absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any person to participate in the Event or to receive the voucher. The decision of Great Eastern on all matters relating to the Event and the voucher shall be final and binding on all Participants.

15. Great Eastern makes no representation nor warranty as to the fitness for purpose, quality or performance of any products and services offered by the participating merchants at the Event and they should not be relied upon as such.

16. Great Eastern may vary these terms and conditions or suspend or terminate the Event at any time without any notice or liability to any party.

17. Save to the extent prohibited by applicable law: (a) Great Eastern will not be responsible for any death, injury, loss, claim or damage suffered or incurred in connection with: (i) a Participant’s attendance at the Event and/or participation in any activities at the Event; (ii) the products and services offered by the participating merchants at the Event; and/or (iii) any notices, letters or correspondence lost, stolen, delayed or misdirected in the postal system or telecommunication system, and the consequences arising from the non-receipt or delay of such communication; and (b) the Participant agrees to release and hold Great Eastern harmless from any and all liability whatsoever for any death, injury, loss, claim or damage of any kind to any person or property arising (whether directly or indirectly) from or in connection with all of the foregoing mentioned in (a).

18. By participating in the Event, the Participant shall be deemed to have agreed to abide by all terms and conditions of participating in the Event as set out within, including any amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may from time to time be made by Great Eastern.

19. Photographs, audio and video recordings may be taken during the Event to be used by Great Eastern for internal and external communication and promotional publicity purposes. In addition, all recordings, quotes, photographs, films, audio or video and/or any reproductions of the same in any form (the “Records”), are the property of Great Eastern. Participants grant Great Eastern the right to use their photos, audio and video recordings taken during the Event for advertising and promotional purposes, on or in connection with Great Eastern Rewards, Great Eastern’s website or for use in Great Eastern’s marketing collaterals and hereby release Great Eastern, its affiliates, employees, representatives and agents from any and all claims, demands, costs and liability that may arise from the use of the Records.

20. Each Participant grants Great Eastern the rights necessary for distribution and public display of any content submitted as part of this Event, and hereby grants Great Eastern on a royalty-free basis the perpetual right to exclusively and without limitation freely use, modify, edit, copy, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, translate, create derivative works from, alter and publicly display or publish any such intellectual property, for whatever purposes including but not limited to, marketing and promotional purposes, on Great Eastern’s website,  on or in connection with Great Eastern and/or Great Eastern Rewards or in Great Eastern’s marketing collaterals, whether locally or worldwide.

21. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and other advertising, publicity, brochure, marketing, promotional or other materials or communications relating to the  Event, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

22. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.
