For many Muslims, fulfilling one’s religious duties is a deeply personal and meaningful goal. It was something Saiyidah’s father had hoped to accomplish, but he passed away due to a heart condition before he could see it through. After his passing, Saiyidah felt a deep sense of loss, and the heavy weight of something left unfinished.
When she received the payout from her father’s Great Eastern Takaful plan, she was able to honour that final responsibility on his behalf. Carrying out what he had once hoped to complete gave her comfort and helped her find peace in her grief.
Despite living in a different state, her Great Eastern Takaful financial representative guided her through the process with care and ease, making everything feel lighter during a difficult time.
The experience also made Saiyidah realise the importance of protecting her loved ones. Today, she and her brother have nominated each other as beneficiaries of their own Takaful plans. This ensures they will always be there for one another.
