Annual Appreciation Campaign 2022 Terms and Conditions

The Gift Credits Promotion is a customer reward for all The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited or Great Eastern General Insurance (collectively known as “GE”) policyholders who have at least one inforced Life or Accident & Health Great Eastern policy as at 31 December 2021 including the Dependants’ Protection Scheme and ElderShield Basic.

    i.    The General Insurance Promotion for eligible policyholders to receive GREAT Dollars (“General Insurance Promotion”) is applicable to eligible policyholders who purchase any of the plan types (as defined at paragraph ii), from 4 July 2022 to 4 February 2023, both dates inclusive, based on date of purchase.

    ii.    Eligible policyholders who purchase the plans types below will receive the GREAT Dollars (“Reward”) in accordance:

           a.      Receive 2,000 Great Dollars when sign up for a HomeGR8 Plus (3 Year Plan),

           b.      Receive 2,000 Great Dollars when sign up for a MaidGR8 (26 Month Plan, Plans B, C and Plans B, C with Optional Benefit),

           c.      Receive up to 15,000 Great Dollars when sign up for a Drive and Save Plus (Comprehensive Plan).

                    -  To qualify for the General Insurance Promotion by buying a Drive and Save Plus plan:  

                        I.    The premium payable (after all applicable discounts) has to fall within the following tiers to qualify for the respective reward:   

                        II.     Applicable to Comprehensive plan (new business) only;

                        III.     Customer must not have made any motor claims in the past three years;

                        IV.     Restricted to private motor vehicle plans only;

                        V.     Customers can self-help via SURGE or speak to their Agents for quotation.

            d.    Drive and Save Plus offer is not applicable to: 

                        I.    Vehicles’ with a market value of more than S$1million each;

                        II.    Vehicles registered under a company name or commercial vehicles;

                        III.    Insured not driving vehicle policy;

                        IV.    Motor insurance policies under any similar schemes such as private hire or Great Eastern General Insurance Limited (“GEG”) Corporate Staff Scheme.               

    iii.    Great Eastern Gift Credits may be applied to purchase of the plans stated at paragraphs 2(ii)(a), (b) and (c) wherever applicable.

    iv.    The Gift Credits Promotion Terms and Conditions as set out at the Great Eastern Life website shall apply to this promotion.

    v.     The Great Eastern Gift Credits can only be used for purchases where payment is made through the Online Sales Platform.

    vi.    For manual quotation, Great Eastern Gift Credits cannot be used but GREAT Dollars will be awarded by quoting the campaign promo code.

    vii.    The General Insurance Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other campaign codes, discount or promotions and Great Eastern Gift Credits cannot be used in conjunction with any existing vouchers including the Great Eastern Rewards (“GER”) Premium Voucher.

    viii.    Both the General Insurance Promotion promo code and Great Eastern Gift Credits voucher code must be keyed in to be eligible. Any incomplete entries will not be eligible to receive the promotion offers. Please refer to “How to Key in Promo / Voucher Code” below for instructions on keying in of the promo code and Great Eastern Gift Credits voucher code.

    ix.    GREAT Dollars will be credited into the eligible policyholder’s GER account two months after purchase of the policy (based on transaction date) and after the free-look period (if any).

    x.      For policyholders without a GER account, they will need to download the Great Eastern Rewards app from the app store and create an account to receive their GREAT Dollars.

    xi.     The e-mail address provided in the GER app must be the same e-mail address provided to GEG during purchase of the policy to ensure crediting of GREAT Dollars.

    xii.     GEG reserves the right to withdraw or amend the terms and conditions of the General Insurance Promotion without prior notice.

    xiii.    All decisions made by GEG in relation to the General Insurance Promotion are final and binding.

1.     Campaign promo code must be keyed in at the “Payment” Page under “Campaign Code” at “Premium Summary”.

2.     Great Eastern Gift Credits voucher code must be keyed in at the “Great Eastern ePAY” page, under “Add Voucher” after clicking the “Proceed to Buy” button.

The terms and conditions of this promotion shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.

By participating in the Annual Appreciation Promotion 2022, you agree and consent to GE and its related corporations (collectively, the “Companies”), as well as their respective representatives, agents, authorised service providers and relevant third parties (the Companies and all the other foregoing parties, collectively, “Great Eastern Persons”), collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data, for purposes reasonably required by the Great Eastern persons to administer the relevant promotion and such other purposes as described in GE’s Privacy Statement which is accessible from Great Eastern’s website, which you confirm you have read and understood. Your consent herein supplements but does not supersede nor replace any other consents that you may have previously provided to Great Eastern Persons, and your consents herein are cumulative and additional to any rights which any of the Great Eastern Persons may have to collect, use, and/or disclose of your Personal Data, with or without your consent, to the extent permitted under applicable law.

These policies are protected under the Policy Owners’ Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC). Coverage for your policy is automatic and no further action is required from you.
