“GREAT Term 2” Bundled Promotion (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions
1. This Promotion is only applicable to Policyholders who
(a) apply for GREAT Term 2 (“Qualifying Plan”) from The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited ("GELS") where the plan is submitted and incepted between 28 January 2026 to 30 April 2026, both dates inclusive, and incepted by 30 June 2026 (“Qualifying Period”); and
(b) attach the Living Care Rider 2 and/or Complete Living Care Rider 2 to the GREAT Term 2 policy at the point of application.
2. GREAT Term 2 policy that has fulfilled the conditions in both Clauses 1(a) and 1(b) will enjoy a 5% discount on the premiums rates of GREAT Term 2 policy.
3. This Promotion is not valid with any other offers or promotions (including where premium vouchers are utilised for payment of premiums) held by GELS, unless otherwise specified by GELS.
4. GELS reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions or extend or withdraw the Promotion at any time without prior notice or liability to any party. The decision of GELS on all matters relating to thePromotion shall be final and binding on all customers.
5. You hereby agree to all the terms and conditions of participation in the Promotion as set out herein, including all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may from time to time be made by the Company.
6. By participating in this Promotion, you agree and consent to GELS and its related corporations (collectively, the "Companies"), as well as their respective representatives, agents, the Companies' authorised service providers and relevant third parties (the Companies and all the other foregoing parties, collectively, “Great Eastern Persons”), collecting, using, disclosing, and/or sharing amongst themselves your personal data, for purposes reasonably required by the Companies to evaluate your proposal and to provide the products or services which you are applying for (including any policy renewals and policy upgrades, substitutions or replacements) and such other purposes as described in Great Eastern's Privacy Statement (collectively, the “Purposes”) which is accessible from Great Eastern Singapore’s website at https://www.greateasternlife.com, which you confirm you have read and understood.
Your consents herein supplement but do not supersede nor replace any other consents you may have previously provided to Great Eastern Persons, and your consents herein are cumulative and additional to any rights which any of the Great Eastern Persons may have to collect, use, and/or disclose of your Personal Data, with or without your consent, to the extent permitted under applicable law.
In addition, where personal data of any person is disclosed by you, you further confirm and represent that you have obtained the consent of the individual concerned for the Purposes, unless such consent is not required under applicable laws: (i) to collect such personal data; (ii) for the disclosure of such personal data to the Great Eastern Persons; and (iii) for the Great Eastern Persons’ collection, use and/or disclosure of such personal data.
7. The terms and conditions of this Promotion shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Singapore law. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these terms and conditions, including the validity and enforceability thereof.

“GREAT Term 2” Complimentary GREAT Home Protect Insurance Campaign Terms and Conditions
1. This Campaign is only applicable to Policyholders who
(a) apply for GREAT Term 2 from The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited ("GELS") where the plan is submitted between 28 January 2026 to 30 April 2026, both dates inclusive, and incepted by 30 June 2026 (“Qualifying Period”); and
(b) attach Complete Living Care Rider 2 to the GREAT Term 2 policy at the point of application; and
(c) satisfy the minimum annual premium of S$2,500 (including loadings and other discounts, if any).
2. The Complimentary GREAT Home Protect policy will start from the policy issue date of the GREAT Term 2 policy, valid for a period of 12 months.
3. GELS shall cancel the Complimentary GREAT Home Protect policy, if the GREAT Term 2 policy is cancelled within the Free Look Period.
4. The Complimentary GREAT Home Protect policy is underwritten by Great Eastern General Insurance Limited.
(a) Claims payable under the Complimentary Insurance Policy are subjected to the policyholder’s insurable interest in the insured property, and this is evaluated based on the occupancy type and property type (e.g. owner-occupied, landlord, tenant-occupied, HDB, condominiums, landed property, etc)
(b) Coverage limits, benefits, and applicable Terms & Conditions follow the GREAT Home Protect product under the Superior Plan.
(c) Policyholders are allowed to request a change of the insured address at any time during the Policy Period. Any change must meet eligibility requirements and may result in adjustments to coverage or conditions.
(d) Policyholders may contact Great Eastern General to request an increase in coverage at applicable additional premium.
(e) Policyholders may cancel the Complimentary Insurance Policy at any time, subject to the following:
(i) No refund will be provided for the complimentary portion of the coverage.
(ii) Refunds (if applicable) will only be made for the additional premiums paid by the policyholder.

“GREAT Term 2” Complimentary GREAT Home Protect Insurance Campaign Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is this campaign?
This Campaign is only open to GREAT Term 2 (“GT2”) Policyholders who:
1. Apply for GREAT Term 2* from The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited where the plan is submitted and incepted between 28 January 2026 to 30 April 2026, both dates inclusive;
2. Complete Living Care Rider 2 is attached to the GT2 policy at the point of application; and
3. Annual premium of the GT2 policy and any attaching riders is S$2,500 and above (including loadings and other discounts, if any).
*Application must be a new sign-up.
If you are eligible, you will automatically receive a complimentary one-year GREAT Home Protect policy (“Complimentary Insurance Policy”) to insure your declared residential address. The Complimentary Insurance Policy will be issued by Great Eastern General(“GEG”) based on the information you provided in your GT2 policy application.
GREAT Home Protect is an All-Risks Home Insurance policy which covers accidental loss or damage to household contents, building and renovations, unless the losses are specifically excluded.
2. When will the Complimentary Insurance Policy be issued?
GREAT Home Protect (Superior Plan) will be issued within 30 days after the expiration of the Free-Look Period for your GT2 policy and will commence on the same date as the policy issue date of your GT2 policy.
You will receive your GREAT Home Protect policy documents by email.

4. Can you choose to top-up the sum insured?
Yes, you may choose to top-up your Home Insurance coverage subject to additional premium rates by writing in to GICare-sg@greateasterngeneral.com
Please note that top-up requests may be subject to underwriting.
5. Are the top-up premiums refundable?
Yes, top-up premiums paid by you are refundable, subject to the applicable cancellation clauses stated in the policy wording.
Please note that as GREAT Home Protect is provided on a complimentary basis, there will be no premiums refunded in the event of cancellation, save for top-up premiums.
6. What happens if you choose to cancel the Complimentary Insurance Policy?
• You will lose coverage under the Complimentary Insurance Policy and no refunds will be made as GREAT Home Protect was provided on a complimentary basis.
• Only the top-up premiums (if any) are refundable, subject to the applicable cancellation clauses stated in the policy wording.
• Cancellation of the Complimentary Insurance Policy does not affect the GREAT Term 2 Policy.
7. Can the Complimentary Insurance Policy be issued under someone else’s name?
No, the Complimentary Insurance Policy must be issued to the policyholder of the GT2 policy.
8. Can you request to change the insured address?
Yes, you may request to change the insured address to insure another property that you have insurable interest in.
Please do note that claims payable under the GREAT Home Protect Policy are subject to the policyholder’s insurable interest in the insured property, and this is evaluated based on the occupancy type and property type (e.g. owner-occupied, landlord, tenant-occupied, HDB, condominiums, landed property, etc).
9. What happens during a claim if you already have an existing Home Insurance policy insuring your property?
If you have more than one GREAT Home Protect policy from GEG that covers the same property, we will only pay from the policy with the highest coverage amount.
If you have a Home Insurance policy with another insurer, you may choose to file a claim with GEG and we will assess your claim eligibility based on the terms of the GREAT Home Protect policy together with any other policies you may have.
10. How can you file a claim?
You may file for a claim through these five steps:

Mitigate Loss & Collect Information · Take all necessary measures to prevent and avoid further loss or damage to your home or items by separating the dry and undamaged items from the wet or burnt items. · Do not dispose of any damaged items without our prior written consent. · Take photographs of the damaged items and retain the items for our inspection. · Assist and cooperate with the loss adjuster who may be sent to assess the situation. · In cases involving damage to property or bodily injury of a third party:
Immediately inform us when you receive any letter of demand, Writ of Summons, etc. from the third party. |
