Body Fat Calculator

Is the level of fat in your body within the healthy range? Find out with this fat calculator. This tool provides body fat percentage for both women and men, which is important as traditionally women are healthier with higher body fat percentages than men. This is because women require higher fat levels for safe pregnancy.

How does this tool help me?

For women between age 20 and 40, 19% to 26% body fat is generally good to excellent. For women aged 40+ to 60+, they should have between 23% and 30% body fat. For men between age 20 and 40, 10% to 20% body fat is a good target to aim for. And at age 40+ to 60+, 19% to 23% is excellent.

If your body fat percentage is higher, or even lower than the ranges listed here, the result may be considered fair or poor. As such, seeking a way to lose (or even gain!) fat is necessary. Fat loss is not that difficult, but does require some sort of exercise program, as diet alone will not be enough.
