How does this tool help me?
This tool is designed to help you start your fitness journey well-informed body fat percentage so that you could create your exercise regime and diet according to your current fat ratio. All you have to do is enter your Height, abdomen, and neck inches, and this body fat calculator will show you the approximate body fat percentage of your body. You can also use a BMI calculator for or better approximation of your body fat distribution along with this tool.
For women between age 20 and 40, 19% to 26% body fat is generally good to excellent. For women aged 40+ to 60+, they should have between 23% and 30% body fat. For men between age 20 and 40, 10% to 20% body fat is a good target to aim for. And at age 40+ to 60+, 19% to 23% is excellent.
If your body fat percentage is higher, or even lower than the ranges listed here, the result may be considered fair or poor. As such, seeking a way to lose (or even gain!) fat is necessary. Fat loss is not that difficult, but does require some sort of exercise program, as diet alone will not be enough.
